While scanning the heavens for signs of life, our scientists noticed a meteor fall into the northern lands in Nimbus Crossing. The rushed to the scene and took it back to the lab for further study. Under one of the massive microscopes, they noticed that there was liquid on this hunk of space rock and in that liquid was tiny, microbial life! The scientists extracted this new life form and decided to test it in various other liquids they had around the lab. All the while the creature was eating everything it could find in these new fluids and growing...

Grow your creature as big as you like in Parasyte! Each item you eat has an affect on your creature, some good and some dangerous. In this early beta version, you can eat and grow in several liquids, saving your progress along the way. In the next beta release, break out of the microscope and start eating your way out of the lab and into the world at large and playing with other players!

Heroes of Stovalan

Long ago, centuries before the Fall, the Dour were one people living in peace and harmony with all things as was the desire of their creator, Stovalan. Their numbers grew vast and the forest was alive with their villages. As their ranks grew, so did their knowledge and power. While knowledge is a gift, power is often a curse.

Slowly the years passed and the Dour split into three groups:

The Sto-Dour, who wish to remain in the woods and wilds and serve their creator and goddess Stovalan, believe that they are the one true Dour people and that every aspect of their lives should be according to their perception of Stovalan and her will.

The Mia-Dour, who wish to build beautiful cities of stone, metal and glass, believe that Stovalan is best served through learning, magic and expansion through diplomacy.

The Val-Dour, who wish to leave the other Dour to their own fate, doubt the very existence of Stovalan and desire nothing less than mastery of the entire world through any means.

As unrest grew between the three groups, so did the struggle for lands they could call their own. Disagreements became struggles and struggles became wars. As the battles rage, on which side will you fight?

Corsair Hold'em

Deep in the bowels of the "Scum Bucket" the dread pirate "Captain DirtyBeard" sails the seas in search of Spanish gold. Sadly, DirtyBeard never seems to find any booty and his crew are bored to tears. To pass the time, they often hide below decks to play poker.

In our version of Texas hold'em, we offer a few twists. Players play by the normal rules but being pirates, they have a couple of special cheats they can attempt. A player may cause a distraction and steal the top card from the dealers deck, provided they don't get caught!

Also with pirates being a vicious lot, they may also pull out their pistol and shoot another player, kicking them out of the hand but costing the shooter a random amount of their available gold. Cheats are regulated by cheat tokens. You start with one and may buy more for 500 gold with a max at any given time of two.

Poker may be fun but pirates make it interesting.
